Description:

Hi! Difley here! I am a very sweet and lovable dog that loves to bond with my people! I like to follow you around the house and snuggle up with you at night in bed! I am pretty shy at first but once I get to know you I open up. Don't get me wrong, I love all people. I just like having a human best friend!

I am good with other dogs but I am still learning how to play with them. I also don't mind cats, they aren't very interesting to me, they just sit around all day. I am potty trained but I don't like being left alone in my kennel all day. You see, I was dumped in a ditch in a rural Midwestern town. I was so lost until this really nice lady found me and rescued me.

My foster mama and I talk a lot and we have decided that I would like a home with kids or even an older couple! Foster mama says I am very gentle and quiet so if you are looking for a barker, I can't help you with that one. I do, however, give great dancing lesson .. for treats that is BOL! I also know how to sit pretty for human food but mama says I'm kind of a treat snob. If you are going somewhere, I'll be your co pilot, going for a walk, I'm game! But most importantly, snuggles, petting and love is all I really need.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
