Russell, a handsome Pug, spent the first 5 years of his life doing work being a breeding dog for others, now it's his turn to have the life a pet should have!! He deserves to be someone's beloved pet!!

*PLEASE GIVE HIM THAT CHANCE!!*

*Foster update:* "Russell is great with other dogs, *he gets along well with my two pugs*. They are teaching him how to be a family pet and he is catching on! He also has become a people-person…at first he was a little timid around us, but now he is comfortable enough to be petted and will sit by us while watching tv.

We don’t have kids, but when he sees kids at the dog park, he is very calm and lets them pet him. He has also become more playful, although he is more calm than most pugs, he does run around the yard with my pugs and *loves rolling around in the grass*.

*He does great in a crate! * He is in a crate while we’re at work, so he is used to it, and has no issues. He is also doing well learning how to go on a walk. When we first got him, he had some problems walking, and would walk very slow, but he now can walk just fine, and is great on a leash. (I think he was never walked before we got him, so his legs were probably so stiff).

He cuddles somewhat…he is still a tad bit reserved, but is slowly continuing to open up to us. At first, when we would put our hand close to him, he would cower away (probably was abused in the past), but now he welcomes being petted and lets our pugs get close to him. He is making progress potty training!! Still a few accidents, but a work in progress.

At first, he hated going outside, but now he runs out when he has to go potty. We were crating him at bedtime, but just recently started letting him sleep in our room at night".

*PLEASE GIVE THIS GOOD BOY A CHANCE TO BE A PET, TO TAKE A BREAK, PUT UP HIS PAWS AND REST FOR AWHILE!! HIS WORK IS DONE :) NOW IT'S TIME FOR HIM TO PLAY AND ENJOY LIFE!!!*
