Description:
I'm adopted!!! I get to go home to my forever home! I am very happy and thank my foster parents for giving a great home until my forever home could come for me! YOU HAVE GOT TO MEET JUSTICE! He came to us all the way from a very high kill shelter in the south. His time was up. This poor boy was led down the hall to the gas chamber - where his collar was removed in preparation for his death. It was time to STUFF him in with all the rest.... Justice was going to die. However, by some miracle, some amazing twist of fate - the gas chamber was FULL- there was no more room for Justice that night- so he was led back to his kennel and scheduled to die- first thing the next morning! A plea was posted all over the internet begging for someone to step up and save this dog- he was a favorite at the shelter. We saw the plea and did some fast faxing and phone calling- and- WE SAVED HIM!!! JUSTICE LIVES!! He has arrived in the Twin Cities and is now looking for a forever home. About Justice... Justice is about a year and a half old. He's smaller than we originally thought, only about 35 pounds. He's very friendly and exuberant! (He just skirted death and I think he knows it- of course he's exhuberant!) He adores people and you will be his new best friend!! He gets along well with other dogs and has quite a charming personality. Justice could care less about cats and does great with well behaved, older kids who are respectful of animals. As time goes by, we'll learn more about this boy and we'll continue to post, but please note, the workers at the shelter he came from were all in love with this guy! He is going to need a wonderful, loving home with people who can be patient with him as he begins to discover stability and realizes that the "other shoe is not gonna drop" ; that he is safe for GOOD now and will never have to worry again. This miracle boy cheated certain death for a reason and we think it's because he has so much to offer some lucky family out there! We think he's destined for greatness! He came across 7 states to join our rescue group in MN- there must be something wonderful in store for Justice!! Please feel free to fill out an Adoption Application at our main website, www.midwestanimalrescue.org, by clicking on the Forms/Applications link under Website Features in the sidebar. Thank you! When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters. How to learn more about a pet: Complete the application (click on the button above) to start our process for adopting or fostering a MARS Pet. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. Pet Breeds: The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility or Shelter partner. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess without knowing a pet’s full history.
