This handsome boy was rescued from a rural shelter that doesn't allow his breed
to be adopted to the public.  A local rescuer saved him and has asked MARS to help.

Here is an update from his rescuers: 
Deuce is a large boy, and the second he saw me his tail was wagging,
big ole grin wrinkles around the sides of his mouth, eyes full of love and wonder,
and happiness. I got down and he was kissing me, trying to climb on my knees, just
BEGGING me to take him. And I did. Right after we got him, within a week,
Cathy was walking him outside on a lead and one of our cats ran up to Deuce, stood
up on his hind legs, and head-butted Deuce right in the face. Deuce just wagged his
tail. The cat, being ornery, followed.....stalked....Deuce, but the dog could not
care less. When he's up front in the office, or in the retail room, just walk up and
he'll sit down and look up at you, and/or roll over on his back, spread his legs,
and give up that tummy for some quality rubbing or scratching.

Duece is remarkable. There isn't one scar on his body. He'd never been in a fight,
never shown his teeth, never growled. We would so love to find a home with someone
who would give him the home and the life style he deserves. Totally inside dog,
watching TV and sharing potato chips with him, a nice fenced in yard would be
perfect so he could go outside and play, undisturbed. 

URGENT: Deuce needs a foster home, while we work to find a forever home. We cover all authorized medical expenses.
