Description:

Kevin is a large, fluffy handsome boy who was found as a stray in St Paul. He is friendly and affectionate with people when he approaches, and in his current foster home will just walk away when he doesn't want attention. Kevin is initially shy, but loves treats and is curious about toys. He loves a cubby, just loves a cat cave or house to nest in.

After several attempts to introduce Kevin to the other cats in the home, we have determined that Kevin needs to be the only cat in the house (probably no dogs either). Kevin is aggressive with the other cats, this is sometimes the case for a male cat who has been outside on his own, he was likely had to compete with other cats for territory and resources.

Kevin is a big tom cat, 13 pounds of muscle, and his foster can't wait to see him come out of his shell and turn into the beautiful and confident cat we know he can be.

Kevin needs a understanding and patient home, he needs some willing to give him time to feel safe and secure in a new environment and love him for who he is.

Kevin has been neutered, and vaccinated for rabies, distemper, dewormed, tested for FIV/FELV (negative) and microchipped so he never gets lost again.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
