Meet Faith,

was born in an area where there is a ban on puppies that they think are pitbulls, I of course am not one, but being they didn't know I went to the pound. Because of that, I was taken to the shelter before I was old enough to even be on my own!! I have really great markings and a unique face but I am definitely not a pitbull, although they can be cool too we think I’m Italian Greyhound mix which is really neat.

I have been in a few different foster homes and have lived with cats, dogs and all kinds of different animals including chickens. I have also been around special needs kids. I have been settled into my current foster home now for about 3 weeks and my foster mom and kids (ages 10 and 8) adore me! I do better with kids probably over the age of 3 or 4 because I do like to play and sometimes forget I’m not supposed to jump. I love my food and toys and bones and have no problem even if you take them away from me because I just love everyone and everything. I’ve never even growled and I rarely bark. The resident dog with me now is a little older and gets a little annoyed by my puppy energy at times but I know he really loves me, in fact he even let me snuggle up on his bed with him one evening.

I am fully housetrained. I love people and especially kids. I’m working on my leash training and I think come spring I’ll get it down. I would love to sleep in your bed with you or cuddle up at night and watch a little t.v. Throw some toys on the ground and I entertain myself all evening. I have so much love to give a family that I’d love to joint your home!

I’m already up to date on everything and am already spayed. I have faith that MARS can find a special foster home to help me when I get there.

URGENT: Faith needs a temporary foster home, while we work to find a forever home. We cover all authorized medical expenses.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
