Ducky must be adopted with his sister, Ziva (adopted).

Description:

Ducky is a fun and playful young man! He loves to chase his cat toys and also his siblings. He gladly rolls over for belly rubs or to bat at your fingers - he has learned to be gentle with his claws. He likes to talk and will let you know if you have not given him enough attention or when its treat time! He is right now in a house with many dogs, cats and kittens running around. He is pretty independant, but loves when he is approached for petting. He is a great cat.

MARS will fully disclose that Ziva possibly had behavioral issues at the second house she was adopted to, none at the first. The only reason they were surrendered after the first adoption, was due to personal issues the family was encountering. She has been in her foster home for 3 months now and there have been no issues. I feel that she may have been acting out due to the young child in the house and there for we would prefer she and Ducky go to a home without children.

His adoption fee covers my boosters, rabies, FIV/ Feluek test, microchip and neuter. All of which has been completed.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
