Marianna has a sad story to tell

This is Marianna, and she has just arrived in rescue. Marianna is a sweet girl who loves people, kids, dogs and probably kitties. She is young- less than a year old and is vaccinated. She is about 45 pounds and looks like some sort of shepherd mix- she is simply beautiful.

Note from her rescuer:Marianna is a very sweet dog. She has really come a long way since she first arrived in rescue. Her neck wound is healing nicely and she is learning how to be a dog. With the help of the resident dog, Zoe, she is learning to get her feet wiped when she comes in, how to walk on a leash and wait by the door to get her harness off. She loves to play with Zoe and they spend a lot of time chasing each other, playing keep away and tug (which anything including a tennis ball). She loves toys and chewing on bones. She will lay like a baby in your arms to get her belly rubbed. She wants as much attention as she can get and will look for you in the house. She has a very sweet personality. She prefers to spend her days playing and cuddling with as many belly rubs as possible. She is doing well in her kennel and likes her kong filled with cheerios and peanut butter. She believes all squirrels and bunnies are to be hunted and cats are in the same category.

She is a puppy as evidenced by the new holes in my backyard. My shoes, socks, mittens, seem to move around the house on their own. She has a lot of energy. She is potty trained and is very smart. She figures out routines very quickly. She has been an easy dog to take care of and will make a great addition to any family.
